The invisible thing that Kyle Norton is describing are the sound waves he experiences when music is being blasted from powerful speakers.
Norton is a 23-year-old living in Grand Rapids. He attends Grand Valley State University, majoring in advertising. He’s also a musician. He creates electronic music under the name Nortroniks.
“I was actually given the name. I didn’t really think of it myself,” said Norton.
When he performs, you won’t see him playing an instrument or singing into a microphone. You will see a man on his computer surrounded by huge powerful speakers blasting music that sound as loud as the finale of a 4th of July fireworks show. - Journalism @ WMU

Nortroniks is an American producer who has produced many songs under a wide variety of genres. His style reminds me a little of Gramatik if that makes any of you more interested! His latest release “Halvo”, which will be coming out on his sophomore album due to come out within the next couple of months, takes a shot at the groove hop genre. Hot damn, this tune has got us ending our week early. Michigan native Nortroniks has dropped a classic by way of his upcoming sophomore album releasing on Young Heavy Souls later this Summer. Kyle Norton, professionally known as Nortroniks, is a 23-year old producer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since his first official release in October 2013 (Greater Colors on Young Heavy Souls Records), Nortroniks has gained considerable attention for his fresh take on electronic music production.
In the past 6 months, he has performed with artists as diverse as Mux Mool, Herobust, Sango, Late Night Radio, Archnemesis and Marvel Years.
