Norway For A Kiss

This rock-pop-hip hop duo is as daring and mysterious as their name, Norway For A Kiss. Charley Alex and Scotty MacNair have never visited Norway. But just like their band name, their music is big, alluring, and powerful.

At the most basic level, Norway For A Kiss is two life-long friends making music in their garages trying new melodies, rhythms, and lyrics. One sings rap, the other sings rock. On a deeper level they couldn't be more different. Charley Alex graduated from music conservatory in classical piano, while Scotty MacNair taught himself guitar. One performed in concert halls, while the other performed on the streets. Yet, every time they come together they deliver superhuman chemistry of rock guitar, synth leads, driving rhythms, and catchy verses of rap with haunting choruses of rock vocals. Audiences describe them as a mix of Linkin Park and System of a Down. Throughout 2013 they were favorites at open mic nights at Sam Ash and other venues around Los Angeles. Managers asked them to keep coming back, and they obliged happily.

Armed with ten riveting songs, Norway For A Kiss is planning a memorable show featuring Cosplay characters, dwarfs, and sumo wrestlers that will keep heads spinning and social media buzzing weeks after the lights go down. "We have a fun spirit and we want an epic show for any size venue," says Charley. NFAK is preparing to mount a Southern California tour to deliver their best music possible.
