Well aware Delaware native No Sir E isn’t f*cking around. His sound, live show and real-life size belie his mere 22 years, suggesting more of a road-tested vet than your average musically-inclined kid on the come-up. Equally unexpected is the level of study and maturity in his interpretation of LA’s Low End sound, taking clear inspiration from the infamous spot’s regulars and their take on experimental hip-hop and electronic beats but still bringing his own Panzer attack of sound that he builds on the fly. Delaware may be infamous for being the least interesting state, but this rep’s eclecticism throws a middle-finger up, balancing chilled-out and glitchy, pleasing clothing-store PA beats and harder/dustier drops with just the right amount of dissonance. An East Coast journeyman, he’s brought the ham to NYC, Jersey and Philly, opening for other left-side-of-the-dial acts such as 2Mex and vaunted LA beatsmith Daedalus and bringing almost violently impassioned and physical performances that would make Thom Yorke himself stand in awe.
No Sir E just dropped his first EP, Enabler, available for $2 download on Bandcamp and a must-listen for fans of Warp Records, Daedalus, Clark, Flying Lotus, The Gaslamp Killer, Nocando, Busdriver and more.

College-aged tech warrior from Dover, Delaware by way of Seattle, Washington NO SIR E has been moving and shaking basements, clubs and bars for almost 3 years now and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Gargantuan in stature, standing at a very intimidating 6'8" tall, E is a fresh face in shattering the stereotypical image of your average electronic musician. He is one of the brainchildren of minimalist controller pioneer Brian Crabtree who developed the open source controller "Monome". Wielding 2 in possession, a la LA's most dapper dandyist Daedelus, E delivers a physically provocative display of collaging eccentric low-end beats with an impressive collection of riffs and melodies both familiar and unfamiliar while creating a dazzling visual spectacle of flickering lights and nimble finger work.
Originally a Music Composition major at the University of Delaware, NO SIR E drifted away from the rigid curriculum of the academic teachings of music in order to come up with a more personal sound. In 2009 he played along the likes of many Monome greats like Edison, Daedelus, and tehn at the Princeton Monomeet.
2010 saw greater moves being made with the release of the demo Probably.Maybe.Not Really and sharing the stage with LA's own 2mex and Ikey Owens from the Mars Volta.
2011 saw the debut release of the Enabler EP leading to a slew of live performance dates in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Manhattan, and New Jersey.
With 2012 right around the corner and show dates for Toronto, Baltimore, and NYC tentatively booked, we can only imagine where this guy's gonna end up next.
