No Take-Backs

No Take-Backs is an aggressive, original alternative rock band from the north suburbs of Chicago. No Take-Backs have a sound similar to groups like Green Day, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and No Doubt, with an up tempo pop-punk feel and strong funk influenced rhythms. Drummer Stuart McNair and Bassist Drew McGurn churn out pulsating groves that drive the music while guitarist Steve Mockaitis lays down a cover of heavy chords and razor sharp leads. With Ashley Grutza taking the center stage as their lead vocalist, No Take-Backs add a feminine touch to a male dominated genre without compromising the masculinity of her fellow band mates. No Take-Backs approach all of their shows with the utmost professionalism and always strive to give the fans what they want. No Take-Backs have played a large number of shows at local venues in the north suburbs as a successful high school band and have now moved onto more professional gigs at places like the Gand Music and Sound Battle of the Bands, the Lakeshore Auditorium, and most recently the Logan Square auditorium.
