No Tale Lights

No Tale Lights

No Tale Lights is an alternative blues funk rock band from Somerset, KY. The band has an eclectic style that catches your attention immediately and keeps it. The live show is feel-good and passionate. Anyone can tell we enjoy what we do. We love playing music and making people happy.

Tyler Blair, Brandon Schleter, Mike C. Jones, Brandon Roush, and Austin Roush make up No Tale Lights; a Rock band from South Central Kentucky that is a little over 2 yearsold. They all come from very diverse musical backgrounds that meld together to form simply No Tale LIghts. They draw from diverse influences such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Parliament and Funkadelic, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Umphrey’s McGee, Cream, Black Sabbath, The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, and Chicago electric blues. This broad variety of influences makes for an interesting musical experience. Brandon's voice is soulful, passionate, and intense. Tyler’s phenomenal technical percussion style gives the music a back bone. Mike and Brandon Schleter know how to lay a rhythmic groove that you can let yourself slip into very easily. Austin’s expressive blues feel shows shades of Eric Clapton. And Zach's prowess on the trumpet and keyboard fills out each song and adds a wonderful flavor. Their collective song writing shows a sense of awareness and humor. They don't take themselves too seriously. This band doesn't feel that they have to put on costumes when they get on stage. When you come to their show, what you see is really what you get. It’s sometimes easy to get caught up in the musical fad of the time but they don't try to be anything they aren't. They play what they feel. But if you really want to experience what No tale Lights is all about, a live show is where it’s at. The members of this band are extremely passionate about their music and this can be seen in their stage performance. Be careful not to get too close because you might get some hair or a guitar neck in the face. One of the great things about No Tale Lights is that they have alot of room to stretch out and grow. Not one of its members has reached his twenties. Brandon, Austin, Mike, Tyler, Brandon, and Zach are ready to break loose.

We've recorded an 8 track LP entitled "Who's at the Door?"
and a 4 song ep entitled "Robot Star and Caviar"
