Bio

Originally formed in the spring of 2005 by three high-school friends in Red Deer Alberta, 3 piece rock group Not Another Tuesday has talent to spare. Now based out of Edmonton, band members posses large musical and performance backgrounds. With performance skills ranging from piano to musical theatre to trumpet, founding members composed numerous pieces together but found themselves lacking a bass player for the majority of their time together. In August of 2005, the three founding members Jacob Ahner, Paul Pangle, and Adam Grey went into the studio with Berklee (Boston) graduate Morgan McKee to record one demo track, “What I’m Fighting For”. Two weeks later Adam made a tough decision and gave up the guitar in favor of a career in pharmacy. Over the next two years Paul and Jacob did their best to set aside time to play together despite busy schedules, Paul focusing on his teaching career with the Red Deer Royals Marching Band and Jacob on composing his own original tunes.

In the fall of 2006 Paul began studying Music at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, and one year later Jacob also moved to Edmonton to study Arts and Cultural Management at Grant MacEwan. It was at this point that Jacob (vocals, guitar) and Paul (drums) began to write and piece together the album Jacob had been writing for the past year. Joined in early 2008 by bassist Dave Robinson (another Grant MacEwan Music student), they look to bring their new sound to audiences searching for something more out of music. Returning to the studio this May, Not Another Tuesday will independently release their first album “Refusing to Fall” this summer on iTunes, Amazon, and in HMV stores.
