"Sept 9, 2006 Nothing Sacred rocks for Combermere benifit concert"

August 2, 2006 the community of Combermere Ontario was hit by a powerful F2 tornado. On August 8, 2006 TheOttawaValley.com and Little Bull Productions came together to start planning an event that would help Combermere rebuild. As the planning began it became clear that we weren't the only ones in the Ottawa Valley that cared about Combermere as companies and organizations from all over the Valley started calling in with their donations. By August 9 Ottawa Valley power-house band, Nothing Sacred, had accepted our offer to headline the show and on August 18 the line-up was finished.

As expected Nothing Sacred didn't disappoint the roaring crowd. It didn't take long for the group to have the entire Civic Centre shaking with energy. After the show the band took a moment to sign autographs for fans who waited in line almost an hour after the show to get their CD or poster signed. - Valley News Net

"CD Release Concert Review"

Concert Review – Ottawa Valley News

Remember the good old days when many of us were growing up? The days of the stadium bands whose instruments and voices would make the stands in stadiums rumble? Well if you were at the Petawawa Civic Centre on Saturday it would have brought back memories. If you weren't at the Civic Centre keep reading and I'll show you what you missed,

Local musicians Nothing Sacred along with special guests Scribble tore the roof off the Petawawa Civic Centre last night as Nothing Sacred started down the road to immortality with the official release of their debut CD. When Nothing Sacred first took to the stage you would never know that these boys, and girl, were just getting started down the road to Rock and Roll stardom. It was not hard to make that distinction as this band came out on the stage with more confidence and power then some of the big Rock bands of the past. Lets call Nothing Sacred the best band you are about to hear about, and I believe in a big way.

So is the world ready for Nothing Sacred? I sure hope so because after Saturday night it became clear that Nothing Sacred is ready for the world. - Valley News Net

I have been left with something. I think its a rare disease called Perma-Smile which occurs when you are so proud of some one (a group of people in this instance) that a smile is worn upon ones face for a very very long period of time. You were all in the zone like you all.. Belonged there. I think it is true. You all belonged there.
I looked and I saw a group of inspired, positive, mature, talented and dedicated people that all came together to do something that they loved. I heard a series of differant sounds that all seemed to mesh together into a perfect harmony that drove everyone bonkers. It rang through G’days all the way out to the outside pavement For one night... G’Days wasn’t a bar... G’Days was a treasury of fine sound. It was like you had brought it alive. Everyone in the band came alive. They were merry and exhilarated. Everyone had a positive aura of love and positivity flowing around them. It made me proud to be there and have that relationship to the band to truly call myself "a fan” Everytime the band merely smiled at the crowd they screamed a comforting and supporting sound. I think it was a gas to be there and witness such artistry.

Bio

Nothing Sacred has been together in different forms for over a decade, but reached this final form 4 years ago. Our influences are extremely varied, from OLP to Dream Theater to Elton John to U2 and everything in between. Our Music combines what we feel to be the best in modern, 80's, progressive rock, and we put on an incredibly high energy live show.
