Nothings Sacred

The seeds of Nothing's Sacred were sowed way back in the fall of 2002. Jason and I (along with his brother Joe) met up and started jamming on all kinds of shit. Old Metallica, Pantera, Sabbath. The basics. In the midst of all these jams, we realised that we had some original ideas. Out comes the 4 track and songwriting commences.
Now, it's the summer of 2003. The 3 of us begin the search for a drummer. After a couple of false starts, Jason discovers Reggie through a guy he knows from work. Reg comes over, downs a few beers, jams and everything seems OK.
Fast forward to fall of 2003. My buddy Mike says I've got to hear this guy that he works with sing. Funny enough, because we need a singer. I make the call and Levon swings over to the "basement" one rainy night and we have it out. After a couple more meetings, Nothing's Sacred part 1 is now complete.
It took a while for things to fall into place. Almost a year in fact. But, in October 2004 we played our first show @ the Cup in Linden, NJ. A couple of months prior to that, we knocked out a 3 song demo over the course of 2 weekends. The shows and the buzz have been growing ever since.
Right now we have a lot of momentum going our way, despite a couple of setbacks. We recently found ourselves in the market for a bass player, and Joe V. is showing no signs of cracking yet. Rehearsals are going great, and the shows couldn't be better!
As for the future of N.S., we plan to keep gigging, keep rehearsing and eventually getting into the studio to record our full length record before years end. We should be around for a while...
