A consistently relaxed vibe characterized this L.A. rapper. "Fed Up" is carried along by a supple guitar riff. "Jus Begun" is built upon an unlikely sample of the carpenters' 70s pop hit. The aritist's flow is cool and intellectual as opposed to the 'bitches and thugs' school. Our main issue with these recordings is that the vocals sound too bassy and muffled. And someone should make a point to edit the airgulps from the vocal tracks; they draw attention away from the songs. All in all, Coo needs a savy engineer to help polish his work.
