Melody of Peace, the first official album of Novak ensemble was unveiled
and released in cooperation with ICOM international organization in
summer, 2016. The album features lullabies of Iranian mothers as a
symbol for peace, love, and friendship with a unique musical insight
upon Persian music and voices

‘Novak’ is an ancient Persian word, equal in meaning to English word ‘Pitch’
Established in 2016, Novak Ensemble produces and performs pieces in
various Iranian music styles with a different insight upon the
involvement and combination of new musical instruments in modern setups
and taking into consideration the common cultural and musical
possessions among Middle Eastern nations.
For the time being, the ensemble consists of four players and two
singers, performing pieces in Persian and a few other languages.
The main instrumentation of Novak Ensemble unprecedentedly includes a
number of new musical instruments invented by Iranian developers.
