NOVA hails from Louisiana just west of New Orleans. He released his first single Expensive Taste in 2014. After it's initial release he decided to enhance his style and image for a more Commercial and Contemperary approach for radio. He is currently getting ready to release a handful of singles that are due to be recorder at Miami's Hit Factory in late July to Mid August. The singles will then be released on various platforms including FM Radio. He is unsigned and only interested in obtaining singles deals that are in his best interest.

He is 27 and has been writing music for 15 years as an avenue to channel his strong emotions. In 2016, NOVA was facing a 30 year prison sentence after he was set up by undercover agents from 3 years prior that was part of the "Spring Cleaning" roundup targeting mid to high profile drug dealers. He was sentences to 7 years hard labor which was then suspended and handed down to 5 years on supervised probation. In the midst of all, he has stayed loyal to his role as a father of 2 and admits that his past caught up with him at that time. He was involved with drug sales as early as 13, since his father was away for work months at a time, he had no one else to care for him as his mother abandoned him during Hurricane Andrew at a little over a year old. He was left in a bathtub for his other relatives to find later on while, they then took shelter at a red cross disaster relief area. He admits his bond with his father is too strong to break. Even though he was away for work alot, the 2 dealt with poverty, homelessness and were also very I'll at the same time. His father suffered many years of obesity which led to heart and breathing complications. NOVA was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2001 at the age of 10. He was cured after 5 rounds on chemo and underwent various surgeries related to his illness. Being stronger than ever, he is looking to make the best of his families life with his talents and provide for them a legacy.
