November Rising (Self Titled) EP
(a 4 song EP recorded during the summer of 2006.)

Chapter 1:

The instrumentalists of November Rising originally came together during their tenure at Selkirk College of Contemporary Music, in Nelson B.C. Through a variety of projects they all demonstrated their affinity for complex rhythms, funky grooves, and bone-crushing metal anthems. After moving to Victoria and enjoying success under the name ‘Keewye’, the band fell victim to a classic case of 'Yoko Ono syndrome.' The singer was duped into an Internet wife and moved to Utah to have many babies. The band, lost and desperately in need of a singer who liked progressive music, finally found Chris Lawry, a larger than life vocalist with a passion to take music to the next level.

Chapter 2:

Over the past year, November Rising has accomplished numerous goals. In the summer of 2006, the band entered Blue Wave Studios in Vancouver, to record a four-song debut EP. Averaging two shows a month during 2006, the band began to develop its reputation for technical superiority and an explosive stage presence. November Rising has been supported by a loyal following within the all ages and the +19 scene, in and around Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.

Chapter 33 1/3:

Now after having honed their sound through increasingly challenging songwriting an onslaught of local shows and a Western Canadian tour under their belts the band feels ready to take the next step to becoming a recording, touring, professional machine. With a Canada wide tour being booked for the summer of 2008 and a goal to start recording a full-length album soon after, November Rising is ready to push their audience and themselves toward a long and fruitful career.
