"Fear Report could just be about to save the world of rock 'n' roll."

"Spitting and snarling their way out of New York, Fear Report could just be about to save the world of rock 'n' roll. Delivering a powerful punch of twin guitars, thunderous basslines and frontman Dan O'Berry's raw, whiskey-soaked vocals, second track 'Bloodrust' is the highlight here. A heavy slice of alt-rock that sounds like it's come straight out of Quicksand's back catalogue, hopefully this isn't the last we hear of these boys." - Rock Sound mag (UK), Issue 132

"Fear Report is one of those bands and proof that there are hidden gems in cyberspace!"

"Some days it can be disheartening trawling through MySpace friend requests and e-mails to find that nothing catches my attention. However, there is always one band that seems to jump out at me just as I’m losing the will to listen. Fear Report is one of those bands and proof that there are hidden gems in cyberspace! There doesn’t seem to be much information on the band on the internet, but two things I do know are: they hail from Brooklyn, New York, and they rock hard. My favourite song by them at the moment is ‘Wasting’ – I could listen to it all day. I love the grungey sound, the catchy chorus and the guitars around the 2:33 mark. It kind of sounds like a mixture of Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam to me. Another great thing about the band is that their first (and awesome) release, Theory of Threes, is absolutely free! You can download it, complete with album artwork, from their official website." - Soul Drift

"Fear Report resurrects the murky and anguished tones of grunge..."

"NYC rock troupe Fear Report resurrects the murky and anguished tones of grunge into a hard-hitting three-song sampler entitled THEORY OF THREES. Chock full of hook-ridden guitars whose homogeneous mix of gunk and gleam captures the distinguished Seattle vibe while chunky rhythms aplenty keep the attack just menacing enough to allow melody to seep through, this inspired retread goes deeper than the typical STP and Soundgarden sound-alikes, channeling the hard-edged flannel-wearing spirits of lesser-known acts like Sugartooth, Seven Mary Three, Gruntruck, and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack to recreate that unmistakable smell of teen spirit all over again." - Gears of Rock
