"NUMA Focuses on Making it Big"

"NUMA combines classic hard rock with a melodic touch, making their sound fresh and familiar at the same time. Chad's vocal style is as smooth as they come, and his voice brings a rich harmony ot the classic-rock infused grooves."

-Culpeper Star Exponent, September 7th, 2007 - Jeff Say, Features Editor - Culpeper Star Exponent

""Like a Bruise""

"I've been playing the hell out of 'Like a Bruise.' What a damn good song! I find myself singing it often which says a lot considering I run a radio station."

"NUMA - Former MMC Performers Making News"

"The MMC had the pleasure of being rocked this past November by undoubtedly one the hardest working bands in the region and on the east coast. Over the past 6 months NUMA has quickly risen to become one of the premier bands (I say THE Premier Band!) in the DC/Baltimore area.

As I am sitting here listening to their hard charging single "Like a Bruise", I can see why it is blasting over the region's FM and college airwaves. The single is sure to make its way into regular rotation on many main stream radio stations as well."

Sound Description:

Chad Burrows’ intense wail draws comparisons to both Geddy Lee and Brandon Boyd, and compliments the melodic heaviness of Nick Samuels’ guitar playing. Earth shattering riffs return to the spotlight in the bands’ sound, which is rounded out by the tightest of rhythm sections. The dynamic drumming of Matt Wiles paired with the unique bass technique of Bryan Lindamood join together to form an ultra-tight groove heavy pocket.
