Nu Mynd State

Nu Mynd State was formed after a conversation accuried between the two founding members Anthony McQueen aka "B1" and Chris Spencer aka "Preacher". This group has been together for almost 4 years and have done a number of out reaches and performances while staying active in church. Musical influences come from mainstream artist in all genres of music as well as Sippio Spencer who was a jazz artist and Chris Spencer's father. Preachers musical talents come from spending years as a local Dj in the city of Pittsburgh,Pa. He was later on abel to work with Sinsters of Sound which was a local hip hop group in which he was a member of. B1 has always been intrested in music and started working to become an established artist in 1998. He worked with several local talents but was unable to find a firm backbone for his music. While on the phone one day preacher asked B1 if he wanted to start working with him on holy hip hop he was already pursuing B1 accepted and thus was born God Squad Records, Blessed Beat productions and the group know known as Nu Mynd State.
