N.V.US (pronounced Envious)

Biography:

N.V.US is a hip hop group comprised of three friends AK, C-Skyllz, and Cino. N.V.US was formed in 2004, when they made there first recording as a group, “Shorties & Gangstas.” A party jam with hip hop roots that has gained them instant recognition. The song Shorties & Gangstas not only declared N.V.US first place winners, May 31, 2004, in the Song Of The Year, (an organization that supports VH1’s Save The Music), international songwriters competition, but it has also drawn them attention from contacts within the music industry. August 21, 2004, Although N.V.US was not named the winner of the “Night of Talent” competition, (a competition sponsored by a local Wilmington, DE radio station), by its judging panel, N.V.US had the support of the entire audience for the performance of their original song “Bounce Wit Me.” With the song Bounce with me, N.V.US made it to the second round, September 18, 2004, during the “You’re My Idol” competition. It was unimaginable that N.V.US, “a hip hop group,” would do so well in a gospel music competition. N.V.US has been actively perfoming 3 to 4 shows monthly. They have developed a large following, and their fans have shown their loyalty by purchasing over 2,500 copies of their first CD, "Here We Come." The three members of N.V.US bring together a well mix of talents. Their lyrics will stand you up, and deliver hooks that will hit you like a Tyson blow. N.V.US is currently pursuing positive leads, to advance their career, from contacts within the music industry.
