Nathan Ward's Driving Conditions

NWDC is formed around the core relationship of Nathan Ward and brother-in-law, Sol Freeman. The old saying that ‘blood is thicker than water’ rings true with this pair. The rollercoaster ride that is the music industry has certainly tested their resolve on many occasions, but the combined passion for their music has proven a powerful force. Four years of solid gigging up and down the East Coast of Oz, driving countless kilometres and facing wide-ranging conditions, has formed an unbreakable bond between them.

This creative working relationship has been fuelled by their shared love of blues, roots and retro rock music. The pair are both second generation musicians, having been brought up on the tunes of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top… the list goes on…and the exposure to this guitar driven, raw, emotional music has entrenched a love and passion for this style.
