"Exclusive Interview with Atlanta Hip-Hop Artist NXICON"

NXICON, a Class Act Rap / Hip-Hop Artist
NXICON, experienced Atlanta performer bringing Hip-Hop to another level

Every once in a while you run into an artist who isn't afraid to challenge the norm. NXICON is one such rapper and hip-hop artist currently in the Atlanta area. Upon meeting NXICON, it is immediately evident that this hip-hop artist is no poser. He is the real deal, on stage and off.

NXICON recently performed at the Red Light Café in Atlanta, where I had a chance to watch him perform and chat with him. I'm glad I did. I believe NXICON has the potential to make a mark on the world through his music.

Impression of NXICON

Not only is NXICON real, extremely talented as a musician, and passionate about what he does, but I also found him unique among many performers in the hip-hop genre. NXICON has enough confidence in his talent, his purpose, and his heritage that he doesn't try to intimidate or subjugate his audience. He addresses meaningful issues from a positive perspective.

NXICON's message is about overcoming and peeling away those things in life that appear to be popular choices, but are merely a new ball and chain meant to enslave you financially, emotionally, or mentally.

NXICON was kind enough to make time for an interview with me, so, on behalf of Associated Content, I'd like to introduce you to Atlanta hip-hop performer and a man among men, NXICON.

Interview with Atlanta hip-hop artist NXICON

Associated Content (AC): NXICON, thank you for taking the time to talk with us. We are very proud of the music industry and artist here in Atlanta, but I have to tell you, that you are among the most impressive local hip-hop artists that I have seen perform and met.

Please tell us a little about yourself, your background and how you ended up performing in Atlanta.

NXICON: I'm a solo rap artist. I moved to Atlanta in 1999 because of the music industry here. I've primarily considered myself a West Coast style rap artist but have been versatile enough to represent both sides of the map.

I've been involved in music for about 15 years in various aspects from performing and writing to managing.

NXICON/C.L.O.A.K. isn't afraid to confront the reality of life in the urban jungle - as ugly as it may be.
discusses touchy topics with first hand knowledge, but never without an innate sense of poetry and introspection.
NXICON/C.L.O.A.K. has the rare ability to reach beyond the barriers of money, education, and race, and allow others a look into his world - an inner city full of turmoil and violence. Not a pleasant place. But something we need to see and do something about. NXICON/C.L.O.A.K. is not about placing blame, that's not his bag. Rather, he's into his own mental and emotional situations, which he just happens to turn into great music.
