Punk rock, with an emphasis on rock

Real beer punk rock of the English school. The riffs and tempo is more classical hard rock than snot nosed or green-haired punk. With titles like Rock The Planet and Welcome To The FrontPage it seems like the text universe is also on more fun and less policy. And it is actually quite fun. You can mosh, shake fists and malebond to the not very complicated songs about something that all can recognize. A songwriting, there may be something near directly back to the Sex Pistols without changing significantly on tempo, chaos or noise.

You can both hear what is being played and Sung, and as an additional service it is performed by a singer who makes the fewest complexes, but fits into the genre. None of the musicians seem to have totally checking on their instruments, but they can just play their songs, and more is probably not necessary. This is asskicking, when it works, and there is something fundamentally solid and honest about the band. A concert, you can get hurt in the head the day after, but not because off thinking. - Gaffa (Denmarks biggest music magazine)

"Review: Rock the planet"

NXTRDAY are on a mission to "Rock The Planet" and change the world - and they want you along for the ride!

We all might very well be inclined to go with them if this four piece can keep bringing a solid mix of Hard Rock & Punk our way.

The guitars and bass octaves drive this roller coaster straight through your living room wall until the boys really kick it into drive with a powerful scream. I instantly thought; let's get on the Judas Priest train ride! But I was wrong - the vocals are raw and cool reminding me more of a sick mix between Dave Mustaine and Alice Cooper.

The music grinds and is tight, the players are dead on the mark, the mega phone is loud and the message is clear - rock the planet, change the world and I wouldn't want to meet up with them in an alley if they were having a bad day (they are drop dead serious).

As they continue to try and revolutionize the world we live in, there is a very cool styling of heavy punk here that I really enjoyed. Keep the message and music coming guys and we'll be right behind you!

Bio

From the Danish capitol of rock'n'roll (Roskilde) comes NXTRDAY. A band mostly writing songs about the world we all live in. Anything from: Bad music in the radio, sexual abuse off children, war, politics, hunger, the war against terror wich should be a war against hunger and other things that makes our urine boil. We are not just another angry band we do have humor.
In october 2008 the song "Punk Rock lullaby" was released in California and on Amazon.com at a Compilation CD: Punk kills Vol. 6. Since then we played numerous gigs including: Pumpehuset, Gimle, Cafe Rust, Tapperiet, Valby kulturhus, Musicon and supporting "The Dreams" at Gimle in Roskilde and other gigs and venues.
In may 2010 we released the single "Just a kid" and later same year we released or first EP "The future will be..?" with 7 songs and an acoustic guitar outro. In september 2011 our song "Rock the Planet came out on "Punk kills vol. 17 released by 272 records.
We just had a review in Gaffa (Denmarks biggest music magazine) on November 1st 2011 and they gave us 4 out of 6 stars.
February 2012 we played our first gig with new drummer Daniel. He's doing a great job getting more energy, tightness and technical drum parts in to old and new songs and we are really looking forward to record some new songs with him.
Playing live we always try to give the audience a good energetic, positive and entertaining experience. The musical style can be hard to define because we try to develop our self all the time. Words like Punk, Hardrock and Grunge is probably the best description. Our influences are: Therapy?, AC/DC, Millencolin, The Exploited, Nirvana and many more. We may not sound like any of these bands but inspiration comes from somewhere. Have a good life and remember "The future will be..?"
