Not Your Average Superheroes

NOT YOUR AVERAGE SUPERHEROES (N.Y.A.S.) is the merger of many worlds: Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Blues, and Classical. N.Y.A.S. is comprised of San Francisco natives Matt (Keys and Vocals), Emmackulate (Emcee), Conscious (Emcee), Voke (Beatbox), Steph (Flute), Nick (Drums/Guitar), and George (Bass). By combining musicality with hip hop's powerful energy, we have created a sound built upon the fusion of live instruments and lyrical insight. After only one year together, we have released our first EP, "To Be Continued...," and full length album, "Limited Edition," with the intent to bring Hip Hop back to its roots, while using our passion for many genres of music to invent our own unique style. We say what we feel, we are who we are. True, creative music, expression at its purest.
