Production is not something you take light, or for granted. It is the key behind every great song. I learned how to write music from a lot of "Funk Greats" in Jamaica Queens, NY. They taught me the basics of a Melody, a Chorus, a verse, and a bridge. Today I combine these techniques along with the "New" songwriting Trends to make Popular songs.
Over a decade ago, I decided to build my own production company, and relocated to an Untapped source in the music industry, South Carolina. Realizing the potential of many talented artists My networking began with ex-NFL player Ernest Dye and his D.Y.E. records. Where I met female artist Muffy. A young, female Producer/writer/rapper/singer, who is presently under the NYCS label.
Eventually, I was asked to run a local radio station, where I was the morning host as well as the station programmer. This gave me a live chance to get air-play for our music(which is too hard otherwise. Thought they were re-regulated to have to play us,but oh well!~) and see how the fans would take it! I created a great following from two of the local colleges.
Currently, NYCS Entertainment has a roster of artists inlcluding: Muffy, Que, Kross Da Track Boyz, and M Brezzy.
