I’ve been working on perfecting my musical craft every since I was a teenager.
I expect to release a full CD entitled: Moment of Truth before the end of the year.


1) MakeaStar.com: Welcome to the finals. Did you ever think you would get this far? I kept the goal in my prayers, however I initially submitted the song in order to receive professional feedback.

2) MAS: What do you think it is about your song that it has gotten into the finals?
Based on the feedback that I have received by the majority of the people who have either just heard the song or have seen me perform the song; believe that it is the cohesive essence of my energy and my message that immediately sells them on the song.

3) MAS: Have you been getting any e-mail from Fans? The Industry? Very much indeed! I have been in contact with a couple of A&R’s for a while now and I receive many loving emails from fans. Additionally, I reply to each and every email that I receive from fans because each and every one truly means the world to me!!!

4) MAS: What is the response to your song and your sound in general? In total honesty, out of all of my recorded songs, “Feel The Vibe” has never experienced hardly any form of negative feedback. As far a my sound in general, many people enjoy my music predominately for the following reasons and elements: my thunderous energy, my lyrics, my style or simply for my unique song arrangement

5) MAS: What do you think about MakeaStar.com's Industry review service?
I have submitted my music to many other online critiquing services and have received “good” reviews as far as the quality and indeptness of the review, however I would honestly rate the quality and indeptness of the MakeaStar.com’s industry review as “excellent”!!!

6) MAS: What about the equal voting power being given to Fans and the Industry in the contests? Excellent!!! I truly believe that with both parties having equal voting power, the results are not only fair but an excellent way for an artist to receive excellent feedback from both contributing parties.

7) MAS: Was getting into the contest your primary goal or were you more interested in the industry review? I just wanted the feedback of industry professionals. As an aspiring artist, even if you are stuck on doing your own thing, I believe that it is very critical for you to still receive feedback from other people besides your family and friends. Every round I made it a habit to not get my hopes up. Instead I chose to focus on being grateful for making it this far because I believe that with the proper focus and dedication; Anything is Possible!!!

8) MAS: How did you develop your sound? Is there a primary songwriter? Is it collaborative? My sound is a mixture of the lyrical skills of: Nas and Biggie Smalls, the world-wide appeal of: Jay-Z and Nelly and the cut-throat passion of: Tupac and Eminem I believe that the true essence of my sounds comes from me being: The Peoples’ Artist I have a very strong commercial appeal that is aimed to be broad enough to captivate the lives of every race, nation and creed yet personable enough for individuals to be able to personally relate to the message and vibe of the music.

9) MAS: Any influences you care to mention? What have other people compared you to? Besides my supporting family and friends, I am influenced my many other “mainstream” and “underground” artists. Many people have compared me to: Nas, Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Kanye West, Eminem & Nelly. A truly unique musical collage of the best of the best.

10) MAS: What do you think may set you apart from other Artists in your genre?
I believe that what makes me unique is that what makes me unique is that my music is not only inspired from my own experiences or preference, but it is also based heavily on what many other people have experience or can passionately relate to.

11) MAS: It’s obvious that your recorded material is great, how about your shows? I have received just as much positive feedback from all of my performances as I have from fans who only heard my song.

12) MAS: Are you playing anywhere anytime soon? I aim to perform at any and every talent/showcasing event that I find out about. I mostly perform at shows and local clubs around the Atlanta area however I also travel to other states whenever I get the opportunity to do so. Details on my next major appearance are as follows:

13) MAS: Have you released your music already? If so how, where and when? If not, do you plan to in the near future? I have only independently distributed my music thus far, however I plan to hopefully be in a promising situation in the near future where I will be able to distribute my music worldwide.

14) MAS: Where would you like to see your music take you? I would like for my music to allow me the opportunity to positively impact the lives of millions of people worldwide. I aspire to go all the way with my music, with my main motivation being the passionate connection that most people demonstrate after they have been exposed to my music.

15) MAS: How realistic is that goal in terms of the immediate future? When I first started out, that goal was my ultimate goal that seemed more on the “fairy-tale” side, however due to my continued musical uprising based on the right exposure, that goal has transcended more towards the reality side.



16) MAS: What one band would you like to follow in the footsteps of down the road to success? All time legends like the Beatles, Elvis and Michael Jackson first come to mind. They were not only legends in their own time but their legendary musical grace seems timeless and shall never be forgotten. I aspire to leave a passionate lasting impact on my fans for many more years to come.

17) MAS: Any inspiration behind your band name or was it pretty much a straight forward thing? While I was thinking about my artist name, the word “oasis” came to mind because its meaning is based on something unique, something refreshing and much needed. By definition an oasis is like a small little refreshing haven in the dessert, in the middle of nowhere, where you will find refreshing water. In the middle of hard ache or torment, it is something rare, refreshing and truly desired.

A young tenacious rapper with fire in his belly and a potful of lyrics. Nice to see that he has spent some quality time making the tracks sound really polished as well as his vocal. It's got a commercial appeal that should attract one of the big producers.
