Scott Franson & Christine Young

Both Scott and Christine are classically trained musicians with a passion for rock and roll.

Scott received a Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University.

For six years, as lead guitarist and songwriter, he performed Rock & Roll and traveled the Eastern Seaboard with "The Headstone Circus".

Since settling in Kill Devil Hills, NC in 1993, Scott has become known for his ease and talent performing the total range of music from pop, to folk rock to beautifully executed classical works.

Christine earned a BMus degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in Violin from the University of Maryland School of Music. She has also attended the prestigious Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University.

Christine has performed with National Symphony Orchestra, Conducted by Leonard Slatkin, The Washington Opera Society, The Chamber Orchestra of Southern Maryland, and many others.

Christine has extensive studio experience, having worked for Atlantic Records in London for 3 years as a session vocalist. During this time she also worked as a background singer for several world renowned touring acts. (credits and references available upon request)

Since relocating to the Outer Banks from the U.K. in 2003 she has been performing as a solo violinist and in an acoustic rock duo with Scott.
