Bio
The band started as a simple high school band, which after a few member and name changes, evolved to the rock trio of Matt, Andy, and Austin, known as the Kwijibos. Long time friend Martin Novales was added on keys, bringing in a new style of writing, and the name Oct 29. Near the first show, Martin left for personal reasons, and Noell was brought in, leading to the current lineup. Our evolution to encompassing any genre we can lead us to add horn players to the band.
Using Pillllars Caffee and with the support of Mort, Oct 29 quickly was one of the most well known bands in the West Bend area for it's skill, crazy live shows, and overall fanatic crowd reaction.
Influences include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Sublime, The Cure, Snoop Dogg, Green Day, Johnny Cash, ELO, Tenacious D, Stephen Lynch, the Beatles, and so on.
The crowning factor of Oct 29's individuality is the ability to write and play songs in nearly every genre. The only genre untapped thus far has been country, but it will come eventually. Also, we have been able to attract crowds of people ranging from ages 8-80.
