Bio
I'm a poet of Romanian origin, a mostly lifelong resident of the West Coast, Oregonian & Californian. My songs are poems set to music. Some of my works are national folk, populist ballads, that sort of thing. The other half of my songs are love songs, heartbreak shuffle, and drinking lullabies.
All are inspired by the great old writers who wrangled with robust american love: Walt Whitman, Mark Twain, William Blake, Herman Melville, Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe, Jack Kerouac.
The songs are nothing more than reworkings of old folk classics, passing on traditions. I hope you catch a spark from them.
