"Local Live - October Soul"

Bringing a little oomph to Milwaukee’s rock scene, October Soul relies on it’s members’ years of musical expertise to power it along and then some. Fronted by vocal powerhouse Jamie Brace, the band has received awards from both WAMI and the Shepherd Express. Brace gives her vocal chords a good swallow of whatever blues phenom Susan Tedeschi has been drinking, and Joe Barborich (guitar, vocals), Tony Bremer, (bass, vocals) and Steve Campeau (percussion, vocals) back Brace up with plenty of substance and style: bluesy guitars, energetic drumming and funked-up bass make October Soul’s music full of a natural energy the listener can really dig into. - 91.7 WMSE Radio
