Dark,semi sinister vocals creep in from the start.From flat and feverish on "Hung Up" to a soft husky tone on "You Mess Me Up",lead Elaine "Queen Chaos" Shields seems driven to hit every note with passion and purpose.However, the music is equally important,catching up quickly with a speed that swiftly outweighs the lyrics.Drawing from the grungy underground rock of the nineties,Check you Ego at the Door is an off-key version of Nirvana's sophomore hit,Nevermind. Octobre's Ending is a fun & fantastic group of talented artists from Toronto Canada.Unique and catchy melodies that stay cycling within your head for days is what is in store for you when exploring their assemblage of tracks.
Not only are the heartfelt original compositions addictive,but rumour has it that those that attend the fiery live performances habitually return and become part of the growing family of friends that make Octobre's Ending shows seem more like a really great house party.
Fronted by stunning & talented songwriter Elaine "Queen Chaos" Shields, bass from way back when provided by Gerry Lebeuf, sonic sand blasting provided by guitar terrorist Gerald "Rev Fear" Fratzl, and finally the man who obliterates drum sticks and skins as if they were made of paper, Don "Johnny Jailbait" Zilinskas... the group is steadily gaining enthusiastic followers with every show and album sold.
