OD JO is a powerful foursome performing a unique mix of Rock and Blues. Using a combination of jam band gusto and chart worthy rock and roll grooves, OD Jo's original music appeals to both today's and yesterday's music lovers. They cover The Beatles to Savoy Brown and classics in between.

Singer/Songwriter Otis Taper and drummer Kyle Eul have worked together for many years. They laid the ground-work for this powerful foursome dubbed "OD Jo". With the addition of bassist Isaac Kleefisch and guitar prodigy Jake Alberico in January of 2006 the band was born.

OD Jo has a unique and appealing sound that has gained them notice in Chicagoland. They are most inspired by Savoy Brown. OD Jo takes the moving sounds of The Beatles and mixes it with a touch of Stevie Ray Vaughan's blues. Then they throw in strong rock influences from The Doors, Eric Clapton, and Lynryd Skynyrd.

In the two years the band has been together they have become a family, working together virtually every day on their original music and perfecting their covers. OD Jo has played every type of venue from weddings and private parties to open mics and openers to The Double Door and The Metro in Chicago. At The Double Door OD Jo took first place in the third round of the Emergenza Battle of the Bands. They performed at the National finals at The Metro in the Summer of 2007.

OD Jo has been energizing and rocking audiences for two years in and around their home town of Plainfield. It's time for the rest of the world to experience and enjoy their music.
