"ODOT'S NOT LOOKING BACK"

You can ask any established artist about the name Odot or O.N.E.  as some call him and they'll tell you the guy is a complete MC. I got my first introduction to him as he hosted last years Cold Summer Jam. Never had I seen a host go from making the crowd laugh to leaving them in complete awe of his bars in a matter of seconds. Odot is set to make his return, following his break from the spotlight while he worked on his new project Ego.

He recently visited the Too Be Told podcast and let it out that he would be flooding the net singles and videos leading up to the album's release. With his first single, Better Things, Odot wipes the slate clean of past issues with haters and fake friends. Though he is one of the most lyrical artist out of the South, Odot manages to give you polished bars without going over the listeners heads.  "Dreams of coming up Cliff and Clair in a brownstone" raps Odot. The flows and cadence switch flawlessly between the verses and the hook. Odot even gives you a glimpse at his harmonizing abilities.

Its evident by the end of this track that he's on a different level from his peers. You wouldn't be far off if you called him one of the most complete artist on the Houston music scene. Lyrics, Flow, Substance, Vocals, And Drive are all things you wanna see that missing from most artist today but Odot embodies all of these things into his music. Take a listen to Better Things below and be on the lookout for more from Odot.  - on-mute.com

"PREPARE FOR THE FLOW GOD"

O Dot has been at work on his upcoming project Ego. About a month ago we gave you the first peek at the album with his single Better Things. To our surprise O Dot hit us with two more tracks to remind people that real artist are out there. If your new to O Dot's music I'm sure you'll be a fan after listening to these two tracks.

The first track PSA is a warning to all wack rappers and half ass artist out there. When a rapper such as One calls a track PSA then you know the bars about to hit hard. With lines like "Ocean liner flow, what the fuck is a Lil Yachty..Dont knock what you do, just

dont respect your lack of it" or "They think they savage but cabbage nigga it's dinner time". O Dot comes with it for the entire two minutes of the track.

O Dot shows you another side of himself on the more personal To Much You. Flowing over J Cole's January 29th One spits about loved ones he had to leave behind. "Was always too much of a team player, not knowing that trait would be my own dream slayer" raps O Dot. The honesty of the bars and questions he has on this track are ones anyone with dreams and goals can relate to. He also flexes his vocal skills on the hook for those that didn't know he could hold a note. Check out the new music from O Dot below.

who am I:

I am a 28 year old Singer/Rapper/Songwriter from Houston Tx.
I think out side the box when it comes to creating songs. Crafting is what I love to do. I can attack any topic or any production thrown my way.
The things I want to bring to the game is diversity there are a lot of copycats in the game
its only about 15% originality Right now all I need it a pen and pad to bring that up to 16%
