Oedipus Complex

Oedipus Complex

BandPopRock

We've spent some years playing in various well-known russian bands and now we are back together to breakthrough with a brand new album.

Biography

In the mid-1990's Oedipus Complex was listed by Rock-Fuzz Magazine as one of the best new Rock bands. Their songs were on heavy rotation on a number of Russian radio stations, and they even had a track on a UK compilation disc of top unsigned bands.... and so at the peak of their career they did what many rock musicians do... move on to other projects. Oedipus Complex is back together as a side project. Band members are currently playing in well-known Russian bands like Splin, Tantsy Minus, and Seti. All of the musicians have a great experience, including supporting Rolling Stones gig in Moscow and playing live at the Trafalgar Square in London, taking part in Russian Winter Festival.
The band's new song Space Shuttle is in Top 20 of Radio Maximum - one of the most popular Russian network radio stations. The new album is ready for release. One of the tracks is recorded together with Fool's Garden's frontman Peter Freudenthaler.

Lyrics

All that I can see

Written By: Yan Nikolenko

All that I can see

All that I can see
In the outer space
Leaves me worried by the question
What is that all for
I can see the fire,
Hurricanes and storms
I can see the dusty weather absolutely warm.

And a boy
Wasted and worried and alone
And a boy
Tired of singing his song away
Singing his love away
And a boy
Ready to go anywhere
And a boy
Stopped on the road to nowhere
The way
Of singing his love away
Away

All that I can see
In the outer space
Makes me wonder why can't we believe
In stupid things
I can see the sky
Red and green and grey
A mountain plugged into itself
And birds without wings

And a girl
Wasted and worried and alone
And a girl
Tired of singing her song away
Singing her love away
And a girl
Ready to go anywhere
And a girl
Stopped on the road to nowhere
The way
Of singing her love away
Away

All that I can see
In the outer space
Leaves me worried by the question
What is that all for
I can see the fire
Hurricanes and storms
I can see the dusty clouds and birds

And a boy
Wasted and worried and alone
And a boy
Tired of singing his song away
Singing his love away
And a boy
Ready to go anywhere
And a boy
Stopped on the road to nowhere
The way
Of singing his love away

And a girl
Wasted and worried and alone
And a girl
Tired of singing her song away
Singing her love away
And a girl
Ready to go anywhere
And a girl
Stopped on the road to nowhere
