One of the Midwest’s most popular bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s, seminal power pop band Off Broadway USA is back featuring founder/original bassist John Pazdan and legendary original guitarist/songwriter John Ivan, just in time to celebrate their 35th anniversary!
Founded in 1977, the band first gained fame after being signed to Atlantic Records in 1979. Their first album “ON” sold nearly 300,000 copies in Chicago alone and spawned numerous radio hits including “FULL MOON TURN MY HEAD AROUND” and “STAY IN TIME”, which hit #51 on the Billboard charts.
The power pop sensations will be at major venues and festivals beginning in early 2012 playing all their hits, including fan and radio favorites AUTOMATIC, BULLY BULLY, FULL MOON TURN MY HEAD AROUND and the Billboard smash STAY IN TIME. They are also currently in the studio working on updated revamps of some of their classic songs, as well as new tunes and a unique long-form video release.
