Back Story 

Founded in 2010 Tether is a Toronto Metal band founded on the principles of speedy solos and deep grooves. Influences include: Protest the Hero, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Lamb of God, Rise Against and Bullet for my Valentine. It's current members met in University and have been leaving the scholarly life to behind to pursue the rock-star lifestyle one gig at a time ever since.

Highlights 

The debut release, "Shattered," featuring 6 songs has just hit the shelves and digital stores via independent recording and release. The production fees were paid for through a highly successful indiegogo campaign* raising over 2000 total with 200 attending the release party held at Rock Pile east. The band has had the opportunity to play the Georgian College frosh and has opened for such Toronto acts as Morre, I Am King, Red Handed Denial, and international acts such as The Mahones. Tether is currently scheduled to open for Skull fist and showcase their music for Tim Miller of Protest the Hero.
