"SHOW REVIEW: RED & VATTICA @ THE ROXY THEATRE"

A stand-out direct support effort from Hollywood alt-rockers Vattica.

The crowd was starting to reach that lag time between the initial excitement of arriving at a concert and boredom because the concert sucks…until Vattica stepped on stage. The hometown three-piece brought the Roxy back to life with a loud, energetic set that was also memorable in a good way.
Vattica’s big sound was matched by the pipes of vocalist/guitarist Alexandar Millar and the band’s infectious on-stage rapport was — for a lack of a better term — fun. Vattica was clever in their choice of antics, throwing in a rock ‘n roll cover of an Eminem track and a cameo from popular Hollywood frontman Thunderwood of 9Electric. Thunderwood collaborated with Vattica on vocals and produced the music video for band’s new single “Run, Baby” (available now on iTunes). - LA Music Blog

"Vattica Live Show Review"

Walking through the double doors of Count Vamp’d, the lights are dim and a reddish glow of light covers the inside. To the right is another door leading to a spacious bar and to the left the glorious stage. Tables and booths are sprinkled right in front along with plenty of standing room. This venue is the new big thing in Las Vegas and 9 Electric was making it home Friday night.

Vattica, Valora, and First Class Trash joined 9E on stage Friday night. However none of these bands performed as if they were opening acts but as if they were the main attraction. Each band had something new and exciting to bring to the show, all with their own style and form of rock n roll. L.A. based Vattica was even joined on stage by Underwood for a new song they are currently collaborating on together. Valora, also LA based, brought on a new meaning for girls that can rock; they had a unique sound that was all their own. First Class Trash were playing right in their home town of Las Vegas, and they were no strangers to Count Vamp’d. Making sure everyone felt at home the line-up was set and ready to rock.

Vattica have some big things ahead of them for 2013, with their new single underway, which includes Ron Underwood’s guest vocal spot. This song is scheduled for release April 1, 2013. Run Baby, the title of this new single will also be released with a music video directed by no other than Underwood. The band expanded on the meaning behind this song by saying “It is about the type of Hollywood girl who is super fake on the outside and has no problem using anybody to get what she wants.” The band goes on to mention “we wrote it from a super-natural perspective.” Vattica is working on a new record though no dates are in mind just yet. - Screamer Magazine

"Interview with rockers Vattica at the Viper Room"

Rockers from Hollywood, Vattica have recently signed with Another Century (Century Records rock label). They recently performed at an industry showcase this past week at the Viper Room. The line wrapped around the block as everyone was excited to see the sets by XO Stereo, Vattica, 9 Electric and Awaken The Empire. We had the chance to chat with Vattica before their set and are pleased to bring the interview to you here.

The three member band definitely create a nice powerful sound which blends alternative and pop rock nicely into their own style. Vattica features Alexander Millar on lead vocals/guitar, Joey Jane on bass/backing vocals and Prentice on drums/percussion, backing vocals. If you are in the Southern California area, you can often catch them performing around the Hollywood circuit and they deliver a high energy set every time. Make sure to visit their social media sites so you can stay up to date on their latest news. - Music Junkie Press

"Stereo Six: VATTICA Lists Tracks Integral to the Fire that is the New Single “Gasoline”"

As a single, Vattica’s latest, titled “Gasoline,” checks all the boxes of a great rock song; emotive, ambitious, atmospheric, catchy, infectious… it basically does it all. The song is a testament to the burgeoning talents and abilities of Alexander Millar, the Los Angeles-based mastermind behind Vattica. Vattica is Millar’s musical outlet for all that he loves about rock n’ roll, steered by an affection for the heavy guitar era of the 1990s and the anthemic pop songs of today. - V13
