Lately I discovered two unknown bands that kinda remined me of Dispatch and State Radio. So I'd like to introduce these two bands to you.

Off the Point hails from Marion, MA, where Brian Berry (bass and vocals), Ned Havel (Drums), and Kevin Walsh (guitar and vocals) grew up as best friends. The three began as an acoustic rock trio in 2005, but their sound eventually grew into rock/reggae (though they still showcase many acoustic songs). Strongly influenced by recently disbanded Boston-trio, Dispatch, Off the Point seeks to deliver high energy performances every time they take the stage. Having performed with acts like Pat McGee, ZOX, Kinetix, and Barefoot Truth, the trio has had no problem turning heads on the stage or on the internet. Their debut release was self-produced in Barrington, RI and released for free download via the internet. With a music-first mentality, the young band looks eagerly to making their shows happen by being flexible about the details so that the audience and the band can enjoy the music together.
