Off The Record is a Chicago Based Cover Band featuring both Male and Female Lead Vocals. We are one of very few bands in the Chicago area focusing on today's Top 100 Dance/Pop Chartbusters. That's right, you'll hear "Cailfornia Gurlz" by Katy Perry, complete with Snoop Dog, "Dj's Got us Falling in Love" by Usher, mixed with classics like "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake, "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi, to "Don't You Want Me" by the Human League to "Sweet Caroline" by Neal Diamond.
Off the Record features both Male and Female lead vocalists Ron Starr and Tammy Thomas. Both have a tremondous stage presence and know how to interact with the audience to keep them dancing all night long.
While we appeal mostly to the 18-30 demographic audience, our wide variety and our ability to sound exactly like the artists you hear on the radio (hence the name "Off The Record") have contributed to our large following and consistently packed dance floors wherever we perform.
