Bio

A contemporary Jazz trio, performing music written by the pianist Ofir Shwartz. The trio consist of a group of 3 creative jazz musicians (Piano, Double bass and Drums), which lead each other and the crowd into a special musical experience.

The music of the trio is written and played using a unique approach; using the sounds and inspiration of European Jazz with influences of modern harmony. From classical music and feel, via classical and modern jazz, up to drum n'base vibes.
The music played is very dynamic, moving from mellow melodies to dissonance by the spirit of the moment.

Having performed at some of the most renowned Jazz venues in their home country, Ofir Shwartz has emerged into the international Jazz scene in summer 2006, and has constantly performed worldwide since - from Europe and North America to as far as New Zealand, in venues such as the Klaipeda International Jazz Festival (Lithuania), the Aberdeen Jazz Festival (UK), and the Tauranga Arts festival (New Zealand). In the upcoming years the band will follow with further tours.

After more than 3 years of intense musical activity, the band's official release “Earlier in Time” was recorded in 2009.
The CD contains new compositions as well as free improvisations.
Trio music at its best. Mellow and dynamic; working together as a single musician with the mind and ideas of 3.
