We are currently releasing songs as they get recorded in John's home studio. We have plenty of unnamed songs as well all recorded, but unmixed. 90% of these songs have been performed.

Bio
Of Minds began between the two multi-instrumentalists, John VanZant and Aaron Watson in the Summer of 2008. Nick Vinyard joined as the bassist and learned the songs that were already written and went on to help the band write more. Grant Higgins joined the band as the drummer and shows started getting booked. The first shows were seen as practice, but soon the band was drawing close to 50 fans a show during the winter of '08. A demo was released and everyone was happy except for the band.
Grant Higgins, the drummer, had to leave for college in the summer of '09, leaving the gap for the band's revolutionary drummer, Trenton Hall.
The sound was instantly enhanced and Trenton is not only a drummer, but he plays a huge role in writing the music as well.

Lamb of God, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Meshuggah, The Mars Volta, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Black Sabbath, Vampire Weekend, The Beatles, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Tool, The White Stripes, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs, Soundgarden, System of a Down, Jane's Addiction, Alice In Chains, and many many more.
Of Minds is always writing and experimenting with sounds and ultimately getting the point of the song across to the audience in the most entertaining and honest way possible. They love doing this and they hope to continue for a very long time.
