Founded in 2010, Of The Sun is the southern progressive metal 3-piece from Austin, TX comprised of veteran musicians Johnny Reed (drums) and Duvall brothers David (bass,backing vocals) and Patrick (lead vocals, guitar). Fusing the soul and attitude characteristic of southern culture with the fearless exploration of sonic capabilities typical of progressive and technical death metal bands, Of The Sun continues to discover exciting new possibilities within the realm of heavy music.
