Bio

OWB was put together out of a passion of our lead vocalist's desire to minister to the new millennials and the gen-y'ers. We are intentional hard rocking, writing not only about our Savior Jesus Christ but also about how we believe the church should be alive and active in the world today. We will pursue songs that the young adult can relate to. Through that connection we will offer a cup of cold water in the name of Jesus to a dry and thirsty world, we will offer love to an unloved, untouched, disconnected generation. We are intentionally targeting an audience. We know that we will not please every person, we are not trying to but those we will reach will leave our company knowing there are at least four people on this earth and three in heaven who think they are beautiful and are wanted.

Randy Reno - Lead vocals, background vocals, rythm guitar

Jon Hudspeth - Guitar, Lead guitar, background vocals

Long ago in a cabin in the woods...nah, I'm kidding. Hey guys, I'm originally from Lexington, KY; born and raised. I was about 6 when my mother remarried and we moved to the hills of Eastern KY, which I now proudly call my home; for it was here where I learned to play the guitar. My Aunt taught me how to play on Martin acoustic, playing bluegrass/folk music. She taught me the basic chords (A, Am, C, D, Dm, E, Em, F, & G). Every Thanksgiving and Christmas the family would gather and play. Not too long after that I picked up my first electric guitar; and from there it was all downhill. Everything from that time, I was teaching myself this and that, new chords, styles, chord progressions. It was also around this same time that I gave my life to my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Of course at the time I was fairly young and did not fully understand what I was doing, all I knew was, the thought of having a real Father was comforting. I guess it would be vital to inform I am a bastard child. Sure there have been father figures but never one like God. Not until I reached high school did either of these things really take a hold of me. Throughout school, my music tastes began to change. I was listening to Hard Rock, bands like Korn, Seether & Staind. I often wondered 'Why aren't there Christian bands like this?' then I discovered Pillar, Disciple and Kutless. I learned of many more bands in this genre. The more I learned the more eager I grew. The more I grew; I desired to use my abilities to bring glory to God. I have read verse after verse, and no verse means more to me than Proverbs 16:3 "Commit your work to the Lord and your plans shall be established" Knowing this, everything I do, I do for God and I entrust Him to set me along the path I am suppose to be on.

God Bless,
Hudspeth

Miranda Powers - Bass, background vocals, lead vocals

Miranda Powers is an 18 yr old who doesnt have to find a "place" in this world to be happy. Music is my way of feeling alive and being able to talk to God through a different voice... To praise and worship Him for all. I didn't grow up in church. God just kinda led me there. He put certain people in my life who have helped shape who i am today. I call these people my family. With God, they helped open my eyes. I'm simply just a lady rocking my way with a bass in my hand through this world; trying to please my Lord and spread love along with the gospel with a different beat.

TJ Feldt - Drums, background vocals, lead vocals
