Sometimes, bangers basically fall from the sky. Every now and then, an artist creeps up on us with an undeniably hot sound. Whether it’s a rapper who’s been at it for a minute that finally found that sound or a newbie who stumbled across a hit, this is low-key the type of shit we live for at The Trap. Meet OG Bobby Billions. The Dallas native recently took an unconventional route by dropping visuals for “Bands” before the actual single has been released. The track is slated to be released on iTunes and Spotify on Friday.
Aside from live performances and occasional Snap Chat teasers, Billions hasn’t officially released any music until now. By choosing to strategically plan his debut, he just might be on to something. The unique concept of the visuals match the dark beat and raspy vocals. The focus is completely on Billions as his floating head rotates in front of a black background; too simple or too genius?
Prior to the release of the “Bands” visual, OG Bobby teased a snippet of another upcoming single on his Instagram.
We’re loving this anticipation that he’s creating but honestly can’t wait much longer; we’ve got to hear more from this guy! His out of the box look compliments his sound and oozes “rockstar”. We’ve only seen a snippet of his talents, but there’s definitely a possibility of career longevity for OG. We’ll keep you posted on the progression of OG Bobby Billions.

OG Bobby Billions is one of the best song writing talents we've seen in Texas in a long time. The Dallas native recently took an unconventional route by dropping visuals for “Bands” before the actual single has been released and the net went nuts. The track, which was his first, was finally released on iTunes on November 25th and boy has the buzz been building.
The fan love is evident in every visual Bobby drops on his social media. With feedback like "This is probably the greatest video I've seen in years" and "As an artist it touched my soul" he knows he is up to something. When asked why he started in an interview with the emerged, he said "I'm doing this because the music in my head is better than what I am hearing on the radio".
He released his second single, titled Strangers, on iTunes March 12th 2017. With the video hitting youtube March 16th and people are already talking. This song is a totally different feel from his first single but still just as hard. With the great music and visuals to match the OG is making it very clear that he is one of the best new artists in the game.
