Bio

...His lyrics exemplify an action packed diary of street hustling, strappin' & survival. O.G. STO writes & raps from his personal experiences of being raised in the toughest projects throughout Dallas. While listening to O.G STOs music, you will hear a genuine voice depicting survival and redemption which can only come from someone born into a life of poverty and forced to hustling on the streets. At a very early age O.G. STO never took "no" for an answer and discovered that hustling the streets of Dallas was the only way that he was able to put food on the table and lead his family out of poverty. After a sudden prison stint, losing his big brother to a life sentence in prison then the sudden, untimely death of his only nephew, Russell, O.G. STO continues to reach deep inside of himself dreaming visions and putting those visions to work in the studio and in his personal life.

O.G. STO is working on his 2nd release with his new hit single, I am OG This CD is due to be released August 2011.

At age 14, O.G. STO and his brother began hustling in the streets of Dallas.starting off moving a mere $50 of drugs, which grew to $100 of product, then a quarter, a then a zip, a wig and on to bricks. O.G. STOs hustle and street game was thriving, until his brother was sentenced to life in prison. This caused him to step up his game in order to help get his brother out of prison, by hiring attorneys and paying court fees. As time passed, O.G. STO went to jail and did some time himself. After returning to the streets, he contemplated whether he should go back to dealing or not. Looking at the deep desires of the world around him, OG STO went back to doing the only thing he has always known, street hustling!

One day while driving to prison to visit his incarcerated brother, O.G. STO's nephew Russell, encouraged him to continue with his music and to press on, saying " You Can Do It Unc!" Two (2) weeks later, his only nephew Russell was gunned down and murdered, leaving a huge hole in his heart! This inspired O.G. STO to focus fast forward on his music career. At that time, he wrote and put out, I am Grinding dedicated to his nephew, Russell.

Discouraged, grieving and unsure of what was next for his brother and his family; O.G. STO had a life-changing experience which changed his lifes direction forever. His brothers life sentence was reduced and he came home from prison; giving O.G. STO new inspiration, drive and determination. His story of hope & redemption was born, etched in loss and tragedy in and through his music.

With inspiration from his life's experiences and run-ins with the law; today you will find O.G. STO visiting Juvenile detention facilities and reaching out to young men who, like him, had no structure and are dealing with issues such as, absentee fathers, parents on drugs, poverty, HIV/AIDS, self esteem and many other issues plaguing young men. With a drive to make a difference by giving back to younger generations, he and his brother founded INATI Entertainment where they produce young and upcoming artist, giving them direction & keeping them off of the streets through the redemptive power of Music.

O.G. STO's redemptive energy can be seen in his performances. He puts the same energy that he street hustled with into his music and shows. His outreach to Dallas area youth is helping many young men realize that hard work, tenacity and self determination can take them to higher heights, as he leads by example.
