Bio
Old Time Honey - organic and raw, taking it back to where good music began by defining their own jugband and cajun sound. This artistic resurrection is a merry rebellion, born on the streets of Montreal, in the form of sultry banjo playin' (Aly), thumpin' washtub bass (Speedy) and one-of-a-kind washboard percussion (Squirrell). Fans young and old agree, Old Time Honey's soulful singing and danceable rhythms make for a live music experience not soon forgotten. Whether playing a large festival stage or an impromptu street corner, this trio knows how to captivate and animate a crowd. The trail they leave behind of smiles and scuffed dancin' shoes grows larger every day!
This trio of troubadours has played a wide variety of shows in many of Montreal's swankiest music clubs, on big stages like 'La Fete Nationale du Quebec a Montreal', and large and prestigious festivals from Quebec to British Columbia. Their perfected and respected live show continues to spread a unique smile inducing sound, while keeping the history of their musical ancestry alive. Now with a new full length album in tow, 'Ain't Dead Yet', there is nothing stopping these dedicated musicians from gallivanting around the globe.
