Their newly released second album titled 'Ride!' is a fast and furious chunky rock album with some 90s snotty SoCal punk leanings, but for the most part theyre just energetic as all hell and damned near unstoppable. What makes music like this so great is that it is unflinching in its attitude, which is positive at best, both in lyric and sound. The party rock punks of Oldbury have caught the attention of the masses not only through their tireless and consistent musical onslaught or by their hyper-energetic live show, but by sharing stages across Canada with such acts as The Trews, 54-40, Our Lady Peace, the Odds, and Gob, and by winning competitions such as the Kokanee Freeride Battle of the Bands and Get Indie'd 2013. After a successful spot opening up for Sublime with Rome at Boonstock 2011, Oldbury was invited to play the Saturday closing slot at Boonstock 2013. And with their first cross-Canada having culminated in performing two showcases for Canadian Music Week 2013 in Toronto, Oldbury is continually poised to penetrate, plant their seed and musically multiply their infectious sound across the rock arena.
