Don't be fooled by the name. Do you want a High Energy 10 Piece Band that appeals to all ages, doing Rock & Roll, Rythm & Blues & Doo Wop. The Influence for this music came about 8 years ago when one of the festivals, asked Kim Marie to put an all star show together with local talent to open for Freddie Fender. She thought about all the bands she performed with over the years when everyone was fighting for the same Gigs, and never had a chance to play together. She thought it would be great if their fans could see them all together in one group. Well this was a overwhelming success, it was fun again,everyone enjoyed playing together with a mutual respect for each others talent, a labor of love and a lot of Nostalgia. Kim Marie From Denney & The Darnells, got a write up in Variety, did the tour for Chevrolet, Sang in Las Vegas 8 years, doing the Openning act for Pat Paulson. She Sang with big bands over the years, & is still doing Jazz and performing with her own big band The Oldies But Goodies. Ted from Teddy & the Rough Riders, played in many festivals through the years and loves to sing, Mike Mecha from the Best of Everything, and the Do Wa Wa's has a excellent voice and enjoys singing. He plays many instuments and does a good job posing as a sound Tech.

What an experienced Horn section, over 30 years of teaching for Mike Betts who played with many bands through the years. Mike started playing the trumpet in the 5th grade. and continued to play while attending Nicolet high school then attending UWM College and getting a BFA in Music. After college he worked in the MPS as the Music director for 29 years, and 23 years at Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts. Mike has worked with such notables as Bob Hope, Henry Mancini, the Supremes, The Temptations, The Top's,Yul Brenner, The Heath Brothers,Vic Damone, Louie Bellson and Freddie and the Freeloaders. We are honered to have a talent of his caliber in The Oldies But Goodies Spectular Band. Mike's hobbies include Target Shooting, gardening,Camping, and Cooking Greens., along with Yogi from James Hans & The Soul Entertainers and kurt playing for at least that long with his own Band Those Good Intentions. Our Guitars Chuck Travis, & Andy Medved, along with Richie Pensek, on drums still playing with Chuck's own group The Do Wa Wa's, and formerly from the Do Wop Daddies, but love being a member of The Oldies But Goodies Band
Norbie ( Brian Lorde) our Key Boards from The Walking Sticks came out of retirement to play with our group loves R & B. and Rock & Roll.

What sets us apart is the talent in this 10 piece band, their love of music, the Nostalgia of being apart of the 60's & 70's, and the music and show that the audience loves to hear and dance to. We appeal to all ages, this 10 piece band plays the Hottest Music today that everyone likes to dance to, and enjoy the Music .
