Bio
Olive Melody is an artist and songwriter. Her musical influences come from many different places. Growing up as a turkish child in Germany she was exposed to traditional Turkish music as well as classical music. When attending a music school at the age of 4 she learned to read and write music and started to play the violin. But nothing fascinated her more then singing. Influenced by artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Brandy she began developing her own distinct sound and began her career when she moved from Europe the U.S. where she sang gospel at a church in Chicago. She became one of the Soloists of 20.000 member Church. Besides singing televised Sunday morning solos at Church, she started singing National Anthems for the WNBA Chicago Sky Team. After a successful start in Chicago she moved to Los Angeles where she performed at the 2015 World Special Olympics Festival. She is currently performing her original music around Los Angeles and creating music as a songwriter.
