In a sea full of redundant hip-hop heteronormativity, Oliver Twixt, embodying both lyrical prowess and a charming nostalgic aesthetic, is the queer rap voice we all want to hear. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the ATL-based talent has been featured on ATL’s premier A3C Festival, Underground HipHop, Madame Noire.com, and TS Madison’s The Queens Supreme Court, most recently opening for the show’s Miami live event, featuring Tiffany “New York” Pollard and Funky Dineva amongst others. Between final recording sessions for his upcoming debut EP, Twixt’s opened up for rapper Dreezy’s ATL show to rave reviews and is amongst principal cast for the third season of hit digital series, Chasing Atlanta.
