Olivia DaPonte is a singer-songwriter originally from Knoxville, TN. Picking up a guitar when she was 12, she learned to play songs by artists from James Taylor and Bob Dylan to Dolly Parton. Not only did that experience give her some great cover material to play at local gigs, but it also honed her direction and style as a budding songwriter.
Olivia has traveled around Tennessee and beyond to share her music, including performing at 30A Songwriter’s Festival (2022) and New Ground Festival (2021) as well as opening for alt-country rockers Boy Named Banjo and award-winning singer/songwriter Erick Baker. At just 16, she performed at the renowned Bijou Theatre as a vocal finalist in the Bijou Awards (2016, 2017). Performing on the stage where she once saw many of her idols play solidified her desire to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter..
