Phoenix teen Olivia Cannon is seen nearly every week at a north Scottsdale farmers market, strumming her guitar and singing songs she has written, or the songs of her favorite singers such as Adele and Bruno Mars.
At 16, Olivia is one of those talents for whom music has always been her first language. Her voice is silky -- even at a whisper -- lifting from midrange alto to a clear, low soprano.

Olivia Cannon’s first LP was recorded at Chaton Studios with Otto D’Agnolo early in 2011 in Phoenix, AZ. It is an acoustic version with Olivia doing all the vocals and guitar. She included seven of her original songs and two covers.

Bio
Olivia Cannon was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She sang before she could talk. She started her singing career before she could read in a church choir. Olivia has participated in a number choirs over the years and has also studied speech level singing for her voice development.
Olivia started playing the piano in the first grade. She learned traditional piano theory along with the ability to play by ear. Olivia is self taught on the acoustic-electric guitar after learning only six cords.
Olivia started writing songs at the age of 8, but did not share her first song until she was 12 years old. Her lyrical and musical influences include Corinne Bailey Rae, Norah Jones, Colbie Caillat, John Mayer, Jordin Sparks, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and many Motown Hits. Her performances include both her original songs and covers from a variety of genres.
Olivia's favorite hobbies are texting, 'chillaxin' on Facebook, songwriting, taking her pet maltipoo Bella for long walks, playing the piano, sight reading music, singing karaoke, sunsets, camping, river rafting, and watching movies. Her favorite foods are anything with pasta of any kind. Her top restaurants are Carrabas, Subway, Frank & Lupe's, and Chipotle.
In the summer of 2010, Olivia Cannon did her first tour, the Play Across America Tour. They did 22 venues and 9000 miles in 6 weeks travelling in a loop around the USA. In July of 2011 Olivia did a shorter tour including Arizona, Utah, and Oregon.
