Bio
Born in Yeovil, England, Olivia Dobbs has been playing for audiences around the world since she was 12 years old. Now 17, Olivia continues to hone her craft as a singer/songwriter and accomplished musician, writing music in two languages (English and Croatian) and playing the guitar for all her songs. With five years of intensive music training, Olivia is well beyond her years in her rich, mature voice and ability to pair captivating melodies with soulful lyrics. Olivia has attended the Duke Ellington School for the Arts in Washington, D.C., and the Walnut Hill Academy of the Arts just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. As a sophomore at the Walnut Hill School, Olivia worked with producer Bob Lawson in Concord, MA, on her first E.P. (Stay) and followed up with another 4-song demo in December 2006. Olivia is currently working with Virginia-based producer Marco Delmar with new material and is a junior at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland.
