Bio

“There’s way more out here in Life than the Corner, ya feel me”. Exactly why OMB BLOODBATH born (Alex Nicks) on December 2, 1993 is setting the example for her hood, “Her ghetto” and taking the path of expansion by telling “Her Story” through her talents in lyrics and rhymes straight from the streets. This story being told through her eyes, to your ears with a set in stone memoir of the struggles, milestones, and dedication to success beyond the odds set for a third ward Houstonian underestimated, judged, and a witness to destruction around her, beyond the glamorized sky buildings.

OMB BLOODBATH is definitely a natural born finesser  "Guess you ain't know" with her eyes on the prize of accomplishing anything anyone has ever told her she was incapable of achieving. She’s a headstrong hard-head that will do anything to make it happen for not just herself, but for her people. A crew full of goons her OMB - (Only my Brothers) family can understand, mostly consisting of males who ride for her as showcased in her videos such as “Shootston”.

BLOODBATH is from the hard streets of (H-TOWN) Houston, Texas; “I’m from 3rd Ward, Texas”.  A community where you can either beat the streets, or join them, and Alex Nicks made the decision to use her talents she’s been innately blessed with to build a plank worth walking across as OMB BLOODBATH the artist. Perfecting her craft over the years “for herself” since the age of 9 reciting poetry, while ultimately finding her love, passion, and voice through rapping “her Truth” as well as story by the age of 11, never halting.

“I do this for the GHETTO, everything I do is for my people”, BLOODBATH states firmly!

Her story, this story from the "GHETTO" she continues to strive to get out to the world, and “I’m go get it out there, I’m already doing it, I been doing this, man”. 10 years strong as stated on her track “Renegade” from the most recent mixtape, “A Few Forever's Reloaded” along with previous projects where the passion is evident for Life, Not Death nor Struggle. Something BLOODBATH stresses the truth of through her music.

Now that OMB BLOODBATH has set a name for herself in the H-TOWN streets she was just recently in California working on a project where she expresses “It’s way more beneficial out here, man.” The opportunities and possibilities out in Cali and commitment to building her “Ghetto”, have now skyrocketed the latest release of OMB BLOODBATH ,”DO IT FOR THE GHETTO” and her most recent mixtape "A Few Forever's Reloaded.. While her OMB crew always holds her down, her current manager G-Dash of Swishahouse Records is beginning to guide the decisions that can one day change her life more than she’s already changed it for herself thus far, by taking a leap against our societies china walls.

OMB BLOODBATH most recently was able to hit the stage with her talents at the SXSW 2016 No Stick No Seeds, and DJ Michael Watts showcases in Austin, Texas. OMB BLOODBATH never letting an opportunity slip passed her that could possibly be her golden ticket!

You can also checkout OMB BLOODBATH's YouTube with videos such as Shootston, I Guess You Ain’t Know, How these Streets Do, and many more coming soon..

The entrepreneurship in OMB already surfacing with her teams up incoming project; a documentary about the day to day life of her as (Alex Nicks) evolving into herself over the years to become known to her friends, family, and now fans as OMB BLOODBATH from her hood, to your hood soon whereever that may be. This documentary  titled “Escape From Section 8” a title already eliciting a struggle known to many, but never to be told by anyone with the unique lyricism of a soul rapper, sounds favorable to all styles of genres in music, and a delivery of a hood politician like that of OMB BLOODBATH. Giving an in depth snapchat into the events of the ghetto, her “Ghetto”. Capturing not only the everyday lifestyle of the streets, but a inclusive video collage of evidence to relate to her art and poetry in music all showcasing family, friends, and neighborhood story lines only those from her past and hood would know how to express in depth truth to.

OMB BLOODBATH is truly already a mogul already branding herself as just that, Herself! “I’m just me, only one of me. I mean, I know people always say they different, but like no one is equivalent to me that’s what makes me stand out. I mean the proof is in the puddin.” Best stated by the artist, poet, musician, director, entrepreneur, and soon to be owner of not just the music aspect of the industry, but OMB BLOODBATH plans to invest in real estate, stock, and clothing lines to continue the strive to feed her hood.

“The money don’t stop, we go get it how we can man I told you I’m trying to be a mogul we go do everything, believe that.”
